Anime Expeditions Prodigy Gohan Unlock Trial Guide
Unlock Anime Expeditions Prodigy (Gohan): East Town quest steps, one dated trial clear, and the official Light/Physical Rage kit. Re-check the NPC, then run it.
Prodigy is the official name. Gohan is the inspiration nickname. This page owns both search terms. It is a Secret, Light + Physical unit from Update 1.0 / Warriors Saga (released 10 August 2026). Placement limit 3. It evolves into Prodigy (Rage).

How you get it
The official Prodigy page lists typing and kit. It does not write the quest steps. Those steps are a 2026-08-10 PhoenixVids read of the East Town NPC (V6hKyPy5X18 @ 01:05):
- Clear East Town once.
- Play one tournament.
- Clear a boss node on difficulty 3.
- Collect 350 mechanical scrap.
- Complete Prodigy’s Trial.
Re-open the NPC before you grind. Quest numbers can change after 10 August 2026.
The trial copy PhoenixVids used came with Primordial and three placements. The channel flagged Unbound as a debate on a 3-placement unit (V6hKyPy5X18 @ 02:10).
Prodigy’s Trial (one dated clear)
FifeFam cleared the trial on 2026-08-10 (zKpTm9U750M). This is a route, not a guaranteed loadout.
Farm first. Place three Stone Alchemist farms. Do not place damage for the first waves; max the farms (zKpTm9U750M @ 00:18).
Wave 7-ish: place the first Prodigy on a late bend, plus a Hero for the physical damage buff (zKpTm9U750M @ 00:59). Official typing is Physical, so that buff matches.
Upgrade 4: FifeFam wanted the “lightning” attack online (zKpTm9U750M @ 01:28). Official Rage page names Light Rays at upgrade 4.
Three copies. Official placement limit is 3. FifeFam placed all three, each next to a Hero, and toggled Father and Son Spirit Energy on the maxed copies (zKpTm9U750M @ 02:13). Official Rage page unlocks that ability at upgrade 7.
Boss: Bioinsect with a 50-hit shield. FifeFam sold a Prodigy + Hero after the boss left range and replaced them further down the path (zKpTm9U750M @ 03:47). One mis-sell still cleared.
Side note from the same clip: Dark Mage’s lightning-orb tick “I don’t think works on these shields” (zKpTm9U750M @ 03:58). That is one channel’s trial observation. Official Dark Mage text does not mention this boss. See Dark Mage.

PhoenixVids read Hidden Potential as “every three attacks deal 50%” (V6hKyPy5X18 @ 10:42). Official Rage text is every 4 / 25%. Keep both: the panel they read that day vs the wiki page on 2026-08-18.
Spoken showcase numbers from the same video (not a meter proof): place cost 1,150 (matches official); “like 6,000” on placement (V6hKyPy5X18 @ 09:32).
Who called it best
Same calendar day, two opposite superlatives. Neither is an official slot. Official pictures have empty alt text, so this site cannot break the tie.

V6hKyPy5X18@ 00:13). - LapisMudkip, 2026-08-10: Judar (Dark Mage) was still “best DPS”; Gohan was placed next to Judar, not proven to beat him (

Trait talk on that PhoenixVids tape: “Sebie” and an XOPT video said Unbound (V6hKyPy5X18 @ 06:22). That is a creator preference, not an official trait table.
