Anime Expeditions Dark Mage (Judar) kit, Villain Banner rates, and the late-July lightning-lock. Official arc tick is 25% per second. Read the cycle first.
Dark Mage is the official name. Judar is the inspiration nickname. Mythic, Hydro + Magical. Placement limit 2. Released 25 July 2026 (Update 0.5). Evolves into Dark Mage (Sovereign). The official page marks it Limited.

How you get it
Official obtainment (Sovereign page, same banner row as the base page):
- Villain Banner
- 0.25% chance
- Pity: 400 summons = 20,000 Villain Coins

Official kit (Sovereign)
After 8 regular attacks, Magic Cycle swaps the next mode (Dark_Mage_(Sovereign) oldid 7784):

Evolve mats (official): Magical Amulet ×1, Sprite (Red) ×20, Sprite (Yellow) ×20, Sprite (Rainbow) ×1, Gold ×10,000. Place cost at upgrade 0: ¥1,500.
The lightning-lock (creator method, dated)
Two channels, two days apart, described the same control:
- Let the unit cycle into Lightning.
- Set attack priority to None so it stops throwing regulars and does not cycle back to Ice.
- Leave the path arc ticking.
FifeFam (2026-07-30) demonstrated this in a raid and said the tick was “3.1 thousand” then “6,300” per second after a Forbidden Teacher buff (NHb2Y3_B3Vw @ 01:04 and 02:00). Spoken combat numbers are that clip only.
LapisMudkip (2026-07-25) read the panel as 50% of unit damage per second on the arc (bCep7jm_y7c @ 03:14). Official 2026-08-18 text is 25%. Keep both: panel-read that day vs wiki today.
Lapis also said: place damage about 2k, full upgrade about 63k, “only 12k” on the damage stat, then a Forbidden Teacher + Megumi domain screenshot they called 200k / 250k DPS (bCep7jm_y7c @ 02:14, 03:38, 04:07). Those DPS calls are creator_claim, not an official meter.
FifeFam’s Unbound line: “increase in damage of 350%” (NHb2Y3_B3Vw @ 00:24). Treat as that channel’s trait read on 2026-07-30. This site has no official Unbound page in this block.
Where this unit does not carry a later fight
FifeFam’s 2026-08-10 Prodigy trial: Dark Mage lightning orbs “I don’t think works on these shields” (zKpTm9U750M @ 03:58). That is a later clip about a 50-hit Bioinsect shield, not a rewrite of the 0.5 raid showcase. See Prodigy.
LapisMudkip’s 2026-08-10 board still called Judar best DPS the same day PhoenixVids called Gohan highest damage. That fight is on the tier list, not here.
